Watership Down Stud and Kiltinan Castle Stud are both owned by Andrew and Madeleine Lloyd Webber. The studs are recognised globally as two of Europe's leading thoroughbred studs, renowned for success on both the race track and in the sales ring.
Watership Down Stud is situated on the edge of the south downs in the county of Berkshire. The Stud is located at the foot of the downs, made famous by the Richard Adams novel. Just south of Newbury, Watership Down Stud is ideal for the breeding and rearing of the thoroughbred racehorse.
Kiltinan Castle Stud, set at the foot of the Slievenamon Mountains in County Tipperary is adjacent to Coolmore Stud and is in easy reach of other leading studs in Ireland.
Run by a highly professional and dedicated team, the studs work together ensuring the continuity of care for mares visiting stallions based in both the UK and Ireland.
