Fille De Reve impresses at Kempton
20 October 2017
Under the care of trainer Ed Walker, she had been placed on both her starts prior to Wednesday’s success and she made light work of her rivals in the hands of jockey Pat Cosgrave.
Having tracked the leaders during the early stages, Fille De Reve travelled strongly before making her challenge once they turned or home.
The pacesetter, Light Relief, kicked from the front but Fille De Reve was soon on terms and had the measure of that rival at the furlong pole.
Once in front, Pat kept her up to her work and she went on to score cosily by a length and a quarter.
Fille De Reve is a half-sister to three winners whilst her unraced dam is a daughter of Sumoto making her a half-sister to Group 1 winners Summoner and Compton Admiral.
